A range of free computing courses are available, at times that allow you to fit your study around work, family and other commitments. You’ll learn from friendly, professional tutors of Ara in modern, well-equipped classrooms.
Many companies and small businesses require job applicants to have experience in using MYOB software. Ara Connect’s Accounting Principles and MYOB workshops cover setting up a new business; setting up accounts, contacts and items; entering opening balances; recording sales and purchases; recording customer and supplier payments; recording money spent and received; paying staff; producing business reports; and end-of-year rollover.
The MYOB workshops are delivered by a trained and experienced tutor.

The Workforce Development Team
The Workforce Development team focus on developing quality relationships with industry throughout Canterbury enabling educational outcomes and skills development requirements. Through these relationships the team can establish industry’s need for training and provide information to departments to help inform product design and planning which is aligned to industry demand.
Professional development for your staff can include: online courses, workshops, block courses and qualifications up to degree level.
