CORDE is a new brand with over 300 staff in the maintenance, civil, and three waters industry. It incorporates previous brands SICON, Blakely Construction, and Blakely Three Waters. CORDE has a growth pathway for the future and at its core will be trusted, connected, and united. The company has several key long term maintenance contracts throughout the Canterbury region and over 70 construction projects currently being completed throughout the South Island.

 

What’s the opportunity?

Traffic Management forms a significant part of the services we provide to our extensive list of clients throughout the business. Reporting to the Traffic Manager, we now require an experienced Traffic Management Co-ordinator to co-ordinate the delivery of these services.

You will be responsible for leading the day to day coordination of Traffic Management to ensure company strategy and business plans are achieved. The position is based in our Rangiora Office, providing Traffic Management leadership to Waimakariri and Hurunui district Road Maintenance contracts, and may require you to spend time in our other branches.

This is a great role that will suit someone who is outcome focused, enjoys a challenge, is able to take initiative and who really wants to be the key leader in shaping the delivery of Traffic Management Services within our business. What will you bring?

  • Class 2 Driver License (essential)
  • STMS Level 2/3 Practicing and / or CAT A & B Practicing (essential)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (essential)
  • Mentor / Assessor (advantageous)
  • Physically fit and self-motivated
  • Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude
  • Great communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of people
