Slaughterers x 3

Harris Meats is looking for experienced Slaughterer's to join our abattoir team.

Working Monday to Friday, 5.30am to 4pm ish.

Harris Meats has a through put of 120 beef, 350 - 400 pigs and around 270 sheep per week. 

Specific Responsibilities will be:

  • Perform the slaughter, evisceration, dressing etc
  • Framing and quartering
  • Hangs and moves product in chiller as required

Applicants must:

  • Be a team worker
  • Be co-operative and friendly 
  • Ability to take direction, follow instructions and raise issues in a timely fashion
  • Able to use a wide range of machinery safely
  • Have a flexible attitude
  • Be able to work at a fast pace but maintain quality at all times

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires commitment and dedication.
