Our client Daiken New Zealand is the sole manufacturer of Customwood MDF – the world’s premium Medium Density Fibreboard – which is exported internationally to a wide range of customers. The company has a large focus on continuous improvement, quality and sustainability and pride themselves on their ability to consistently produce individual pieces of high quality in a sustainable manner. 
They run a large and unique manufacturing plant based in Ashley, ten minutes north of Rangiora, set amongst the spacious Canterbury plains, operating 24/7/365. Your organisational skills, drive and energy will put you in good stead for this role, as will your enthusiasm to work within a busy and challenging manufacturing environment. Your Key Responsibilities:
• Providing support to the sales team
• Analysing SAP sales data 
• Accurate reporting and forecasting
• Assisting in the management of customers
• General enquiries with internal and external customers

You will:
• Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Have advanced MS Excel skills
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be fluent in English
• Be a strong team player as well as being able to work independently and problem solve
• Be exceptional with data entry
• Have SAP or similar ERP skills
• Have at least 5 years customer service experience 
• Be well organised and with the ability to prioritise
It will be an advantage if you:
• Have industry training in customer service
• Experience in a sales administration role
• Building or timber experience or knowledge
• Experience on a manufacturing site 
• Strong understanding and respect for safety in a work environment
