The Waimakariri District Council is seeking to appoint a Quality System Coordinator on a full time basis in Rangiora, North Canterbury. You will manage the coordination and implementation of the Building Consent Authority Quality Management System and promote continuous quality improvement in the Building Unit and across the regulatory team.
Broadly speaking what we do and how we do it is set out in the Building (Accreditation of Building Consent Authorities) Amendment Regulations 2017. The primary function of the role is to develop and support continuous quality improvement activities to improve work processes and outcomes.
This is a full time role of 40 hours per week worked Monday to Friday, usually between 8.30am - 5.00pm. Approximately 60% of your time will be spent on quality assurance activities and 40% on other administrative tasks.
Sound emotional intelligence, well developed literacy and computer skills are essential. Being able to prioritise workloads is vital as is your talent to find solutions. You can readily articulate your views and must possess a "Can do" attitude.
