As part of the wider McDermid Group incorporating Blenheim, Ashburton, South Canterbury (Timaru), Kaiapoi and Rangiora Toyota Dealerships, this rewarding role offers the chance to work with New Zealand's most popular vehicle brand, within a strong group of rural based Toyota dealerships.

As an additional member to our small but extremely efficient and successful Parts Department you will assist in all daily operations including ordering and supply of mechanical, service and panel parts and accessories to our broad customer base (internal workshop and sales departments, trade clients, panel shops and retail customers) plus assisting in running a well organised parts store.

Our successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • A strong desire to meet and exceed customer expectations - both internal and external
  • Great communication skills
  • Initiative and an ability to quickly understand and follow systems and procedures
  • An ability to work well under pressure
  • Very good attention to detail (identifying the correct components first time, every time)

To be successful you must:

  • Hold a NZ drivers licence
  • Have an excellent manner with a good command of the English language - both written and verbal
  • Be a well presented and highly organised team player

Experience within the Motor Industry may be an advantage but more important is the desire to build a career and become a professional in this competitive and fast paced industry.

As well as receiving competitive remuneration and high levels of ongoing training and development (both in-house and through excellent Toyota NZ training) you will become part of a team who strive to deliver the very best of service on time every time.

If this sounds like you then please 'Apply Now' through our online application form below.

Applicants for this full time permanent position will require NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
