Media Administration Contractor

Job Description


The Kaiapoi Promotions Association is undertaking to coordinate the development and management of regular and consistent marketing activities across all available marketing channels on behalf of the Destination Kaiapoi Collective.

The Destination Kaiapoi Collective is a group of businesses operating within Kaiapoi that are working together, in partnership with the KPA, to promote Kaiapoi as a visitor destination.
We are seeking a person to work with the members of the collective to coordinate the booking of advertising as part of a wider media campaign.

The person we seek to fulfil this contract will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Significant expertise and experience with the Microsoft Office suite particularly Outlook and Excel
  • A high level of written and verbal English language skills
  • A clear and concise communicator
  • Experience with generation of invoices in Xero or similar
  • A good level of understanding of the radio and print media advertising market
  • Very good customer service skills and experience
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Preferably be based in Kaiapoi

This is initially a 12 month contract for approximately 10 hours per week.
