The Waimakariri District Council is excited to present a new opportunity for an Facilities Manager to join the team.

As you are probably aware the Waimakariri Council serves a community of over 50,000 people and has been, and will continue to, experience rapid growth in all sectors in the coming years. This growth has accelerated many strategic priorities for the Council which continues to strengthen relationships and effectively support the local residents and businesses across the district.

As the Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre & Facilities Asset Manager you will be a passionate and enthusiastic leader seeking a role which provides direct contact with the customer and community. You will enjoy leading a diverse team to deliver a high standard of service and quality operations in a fast paced and challenging environment.

Industry experience and proven ability to work with a diverse customer base would be of benefit. It is likely that you will have had previous experience working with pool treatment plant, managing contractors and planning asset maintenance.
