Daiken New Zealand is the sole manufacturer of Customwood MDF – the world’s premium Medium Density Fibreboard – which is exported internationally to a wide range of customers. Our industrial cleaners are an integral part of the team maintaining plant and equipment, protecting buildings and plant and assisting the production and maintenance teams. We are always open to fresh ideas and strategies, so your initiative will be very welcome here.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to join a well-established and specialist team in a great location on a fulltime, permanent, dayshift role.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• High level cleaning of buildings and plant equipment
• Prioritising, planning and organising duties
• Communicating effectively and accurately

You will have:

• High level of fitness
• Previous industrial cleaning experience
• Previous experience working at heights/confined spaces
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to organise, plan and prioritise

It will be an advantage if you:

• Forklift licence
• Current height safety certificate
• Confined space safety certificate
• Experience within a strong safety conscious environment
