Provide communications coordination and administration support.
You will find it easy to multi-task and keep several different jobs on the go at once. Connect easily and quickly with a full range of Kaikōura residents and ‘walk in their shoes’. You’ll ensure we provide the right kinds of information, in the right ways, to the right people.
Write stories and news, design collateral and pull together information from Council, partner agencies and community sources. You then deliver it to our community via a number of channels; community meetings and supporting materials, physical noticeboards, newsletters, website and social media. You’ll write content, look after our social media and website, plan workshops and events, take photos, make videos and undertake a multitude of other tasks.
You are comfortable in a fast-paced and changing role where uncertainty, complexity and curve balls are the norm. You can think on your feet and adapt swiftly and easily to change.
A fantastic opportunity for a proactive self-starter to make the role their own, work across a wide range of disciplines and positively contribute towards Kaikōura’s future.
What you'll need:
Hours of work will be up to 30 hours per week, between 8.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
