The Council is seeking to recruit an Asset Information Management (AIM) Team Leader on a full time basis at our service centre in Rangiora, North Canterbury.

In this role you will be required to lead the AIM Team and work across various business units to achieve the Council's asset information management objectives which includes capturing newly acquired assets within the asset management system (Technology One) and GIS, as well as working with asset owners and the Finance Team to perform the yearly valuation and capitalisation process.

To be successful in this position you will need to be able to work under pressure, have a solutions-focused attitude, demonstrate a drive to improve asset management systems, processes and standards, the ability to manage programs of work, and show a commitment and desire to build strong working relationships with various stakeholders and asset owners within Council. Extensive experience using asset management systems is a must, as are data analysis, SQL and/or relational database skills.
