New Zealand Trade & Enterprise Opportunities

ENC is part of the New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE) Regional Business Partner network. This network is supported by Callaghan Innovation and NZTE to provide information and advice to New Zealand businesses.

ENC offers NZTE assessments for all businesses, the result of which could be referrals, information, connections, training, mentoring and coaching recommendations.

We are well connected to the experts at NZTE who can help businesses who are exploring rapid growth or export opportunities.

Business Funding through NZTE and Callaghan Innovation

ENC administers a fund of $80,000 to assist North Canterbury business owners with growing the capability of their businesses. This fund is generally used towards training (both through ENC and a wide range of training providers nationally) and business coaching.

If you are based in North Canterbury, employ less than 50 full-time equivalent staff and are GST registered then you may be eligible to access this fund. This fund could provide up to 50% towards the cost of growing your business capability.

We are also connected to Callaghan Innovation funds and can talk you through the process of gaining funding or support for your Research and Development projects.

Find out more about our NZTE Assessments here, or contact ENC to arrange an appointment.
