With many years of experience in real estate and strong roots and ties to the community in North Canterbury, Stuart and Claire Morris took the leap in 2015 and set up Ray White in Rangiora.  Since then the business has gone from strength to strength and they have opened boutique style offices in both Pegasus and Kaiapoi.  So how have they done it?

They shy away from the word ‘success’.  “It’s early days” says Stuart.  But are satisfied with their progress in the last two years.  They put it down to a real passion for delivering great service, working really hard and being fussy when it comes to recruitment.

Their resolute support for and ties to North Canterbury are also an important part of their business.

“In an industry like real estate the more you know about an area you’re working in the better” says Stuart, “Our families live here, we’re connected to the communities here.  We’ve both spent a long time working and building a business here.  We like the people and the area here and so do our team”.

Echoing that local connection is Christine Watton who is the founding agent working from the new Kaiapoi office.  A longstanding Kaiapoi resident with many years of real estate experience, Christine is a great example of the ‘local area specialists’ that make up the Ray White team.

Underlining their connection to the local community, Ray White have also recently come on board as an ENC sponsor.  “The stronger business is in North Canterbury the better it is for everyone, ENC provide a valuable service in helping to foster local business.  We liked everything they stood for and are proud to be sponsors” say Stuart and Claire.
