2019 has been a busy year for North Canterbury’s Ravenswood development, with rapid progress in the residential areas, a new brand and logo for the growing shopping precinct and a new showhome village.

Ravenswood announced last week that their shopping centre will be named The Junction, and released a new logo to match. In addition to BP and McDonald’s, which have been open for just over a year, Ravenswood will soon welcome a New World supermarket and a number of high-profile national retail brands that have committed to leases at The Junction.

The shopping centre will be well serviced by the growing Ravenswood population, which already consists of 68 completed and occupied homes as well as a new children’s play area. Another 63 homes are under construction with the remainder of the 197 Stage 1 lots all sold and titled. Meanwhile Stage 2 is underway, with 100 lots sold and earthworks starting this month.

“The great news about Stage 2 is the construction will include the main spine road (Bob Roberston Drive) right through the middle of the development, joining the residential area to the commercial precinct,” explains Hetty.

The busy Ravenswood sales office has recently moved and is now located in the new Ravenswood show home village which will feature completed homes from a large number of construction companies from early 2020.

Affordably-priced sections and house and land packages are available at Ravenswood with sections from $135,000 and house and land packages from $430,000.
