Gateway Programme
What is Gateway?

The Gateway Programme is designed to strengthen the pathway for students from school to workplace learning.
Gateway differs from work experience positions as the student has specific tasks to learn and be assessed on, whereas work experience positions provide a “taster” experience for students to identify a possible industry of interest to them.
Enterprise North Canterbury supports the Gateway Programme assisting with business contacts and visits to local worksites. Gateway is one programme in the North Canterbury area addressing the employment skills needs of local business.
