The Enterprise North Canterbury team is compiled of highly skilled and experienced staff from a variety of backgrounds; many of the staff are also North Cantabrians and have a passion for their region.

Heather Warwick – General Manager

Heather Warwick has been the Manager at Enterprise North Canterbury since September 2003. She is responsible for the direction and management of Enterprise North Canterbury while supporting her high performing team, contributing to the economic wellbeing of North Canterbury community.

Heather has 14 years experience specialising in economic and tourism development and has gained her Graduate Diploma in Economic Development at AUT.  Heather also has a high level of business knowledge and experience from having owned seven businesses over 25 years including wholesale and retail franchise businesses.

David Viles – Executive Director

David has provided executive leadership and management to ENC since July 2005 in a part-time role. His responsibilities include strategic and business planning, funding and budgeting, stakeholder relations and governance, advice on staff management and employment matters, and risk management. In addition he has responsibility for managing ENC projects in the rural and infrastructure sectors.

David holds director roles in a number of companies, and in his last corporate role was Managing Director of Lyttelton Port of Christchurch.

Robyn Eyles - Office Manager

 Our latest edition to Enterprise North Canterbury is Robyn, our new Office Manager who has joined us from Bayleys Rangiora and has a background in Office Management and marketing. 

Robyn co-ordinates the Enterprise Training workshops, events and functions; along with her financial  and CRM role within the team. 

Having been born and raised in North Canterbury, Robyn lives in Woodend on a lifestyle block with her family.

Cat Hannah – Business Support Manager

Cat hails from the UK where she completed a degree in Information Studies whilst working as a manager of a pub in her spare time.  On graduating, Cat was offered and accepted a job with Business Link Doncaster which was to be the beginning of a career in business support. 

Cat spent 10 years working with Business Link in various roles before moving to New Zealand with her family in 2007. 

Cat lives on a lifestyle block in Rangiora with her husband and two children.

Tracy Young – Visit Waimakariri - Administrator

Tracy has been with ENC for two years, having previously held PA and administrative positions in local government. 

Visit Waimakariri now has Tracy providing them with administrative support for their initiatives.

Hours of work for Tracy are 9.30 – 2.30, Monday – Wednesday. 

Tracy has lived in Mandeville on a lifestyle block for the past eight years with her husband and two young children.

Cathy Richards – Promotions Manager – Visit Waimakariri

 Cathy Richards, Marketing Manager, Visit Waimakariri
Cathy looks after the tourism marketing of the Waimakariri district, www.visitwaimakariri.co.nz and is currently involved with the development of trails for the arts, food & wine and cycling, along with producing local maps and guides to help people discover and experience this country lifestyle district.

Cathy is a North Canterbury girl, who grew up on a farm near Woodend and now living in Rangiora.  The outdoors is her favourite place to be, with tramping, road and mountain biking and fly fishing the activities that take her all over the South Island.
