The Customer Services Officer - Telephonist manages the Council’s telephone system, provides an excellent customer service incorporating the phones, reception and cashier responsibilities.

The position of Customer Services Officer – Telephonist is part of our Customer Services team and is a key contributor to Council’s service delivery excellence.
This is a busy and varied role, working in a close team situation and it will suit someone who is flexible and responsive to changing demands. You need to enjoy working for and with people, and you must have superior customer service skills – both phone and face to face. You must possess good all-round general administrative skills, and as you will be our main cashier you will need to have a high level of attention to detail and also be competent in computer use.
Personality is crucial to this role - only positive, enthusiastic, upbeat, solutions-oriented customer service stars with a can-do attitude need apply.
This is a full-time position Monday to Friday 8.15am to 5.15pm, but may be suitable for job share.
