The Waimakariri District is one of the fastest growing districts in the country. Based in Rangiora, approximately 30 minutes north of Christchurch, this vibrant Council is responsible for providing local government services to its community.
Internal promotion has created a vacancy in our busy Customer Services Team providing the first point of contact between the Council and its customers.

The role is multi-functional with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Duties include public counter and telephone enquiries and providing an effective link between the public and the various Council services. This vacancy presents a great opportunity for a person interested in working for their community to begin or extend their career in local government. It would be a great entry level opportunity for someone wanting to start their career in local government.
